JAS invites original research articles, comprehensive systematic reviews, and conceptual papers that advance the scientific underpinnings of sustainable and productive agriculture. The scope encompasses the following core thematic areas:

• Crop Science and Plant Biotechnology: Genetics, molecular breeding, plant physiology, genomics, tissue culture, and crop protection methodologies against biotic and abiotic stressors.

• Soil Science and Agrosystem Management: Soil chemistry and physics, nutrient cycling, soil microbiology, sustainable land use, and precision fertilization strategies.

• Sustainable Agronomy and Agroecology: Organic farming systems, conservation agriculture, crop-livestock integration, agroforestry, and climate-resilient farming frameworks.
