Scope and Topics

JLLC welcomes high-quality original research articles, comprehensive systematic reviews, and critical essays. The journal's scope encompasses a broad spectrum of topics within the humanities, categorized into three primary divisions:

• Linguistics and Applied Linguistics: Sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, discourse analysis, pragmatics, syntax, semantics, and innovative paradigms in language pedagogy and second language acquisition.

• Literary Studies and Criticism: Comparative literature, critical theory, post-colonial literature, classical and contemporary fiction analysis, gender studies in literature, and the intersection of text and ideology.

• Cultural Studies and Intercultural Communication: Cultural anthropology, digital culture, media and representation, heritage preservation, identity politics, and the dynamics of intercultural and transnational translation.
