About the Journal
|
Journal of Language, Literature, and Culture (JLLC) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to the scholarly exploration of human expression, linguistic evolution, and cultural dynamics. In an increasingly globalized yet fragmented world, language and literature serve as crucial vehicles for identity, historical memory, and cross-cultural dialogue. JLLC provides a sophisticated academic platform for researchers, linguists, and cultural theorists to publish profound theoretical, analytical, and empirical studies. The journal addresses macro-level transformations in discourse, critical literary interpretation, and the socio-cultural frameworks that shape human interaction and meaning-making across diverse societies.
JLLC welcomes high-quality original research articles, comprehensive systematic reviews, and critical essays. The journal's scope encompasses a broad spectrum of topics within the humanities, categorized into three primary divisions:
Linguistics and Applied Linguistics: Sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, discourse analysis, pragmatics, syntax, semantics, and innovative paradigms in language pedagogy and second language acquisition.
Literary Studies and Criticism: Comparative literature, critical theory, post-colonial literature, classical and contemporary fiction analysis, gender studies in literature, and the intersection of text and ideology.
Cultural Studies and Intercultural Communication: Cultural anthropology, digital culture, media and representation, heritage preservation, identity politics, and the dynamics of intercultural and transnational translation.
The Journal of Language, Literature, and Culture (JLLC) is published semi-annually (2 issues per year), regularly released in February and August. This schedule ensures the systematic curation of high-impact humanities research while maintaining an efficient and rigorous review cycle.
To maintain absolute academic rigor and ensure the highest standards of scholarship in the humanities, JLLC strictly adheres to a double-blind peer review protocol. Every submitted manuscript is initially screened by the editorial team for structural conformity, plagiarism, and alignment with the journal's scope. Manuscripts passing this preliminary evaluation are assigned to a minimum of two independent, international reviewers who possess specialized expertise in the topic area. Submissions are rigorously evaluated based on theoretical originality, critical depth, argumentative coherence, and contribution to global cultural and linguistic discourse. The final editorial decision relies on the consensus and quality of these expert evaluations.
The mission of the Journal of Language, Literature, and Culture (JLLC) is to cultivate a dynamic, cross-disciplinary space for pioneering scholarship that decodes the complexities of human communication and cultural production. By bridging linguistic theory, literary criticism, and cultural analysis, the journal aims to foster empathy, advance critical literacy, and preserve intellectual heritage. Committed to the unrestricted dissemination of knowledge through open-access publishing, JLLC seeks to empower global scholars to engage in dialogues that deepen our collective understanding of human identity and societal transformation.
